Are you still thinking that the under 30 foot rule and 1/2 ton rules apply? I really like the simplicity of this hitch and the price is good compared to the weigh safe, which is my next choice rt now. Just towed our 31 foot Forest River to Wyoming and back and winds and sway were a huge problem. Only my large amount of trailering experience saved us from the ditch....and some luck from above I think too.

Also these are meant to put the weight on the trailer axles not control sway. Though it helps but not the purpose. You dont want friction on the bars which is why the directions tell you to grease them. If you have too much sway your wheel base is too tight and you are putting others in danger by being on the road. Buy the right truck for the trailer you are towing.

11 different hitches? Someone is a lttile bit picky. 6 hour trip with any weight distribution hitch is better than none. If you are using this hitch, make sure you turn off your truck sway control.

I have been using a Husky round bar hitch for last twelve years. It is very sturdy and I have not had a single issue with it. Does exactly what I needed it to do. That said, I do have a smaller 22' trailer, 4000 lbs.

Lippert is getting a very bad name due to their 💩frames that are under built and poorly constructed. They’ve got to prevent folks from showing the 💩products.

Those Olivers have always been my favorite money doesn’t matter camper. We went camping once and they were having an Oliver meet up put on by the manufacturer so we saw a lot of them. Owners told us nothing negative at all.

It is so very insulting when I learn that a vendor I patronize is cheating, lying, swindling its patrons. My route is like yours. I simply do not patronize them anymore, as I’ve never found that I can’t find what I need elsewhere. So I do understand your position and the decision you made. I also applaud your disclosure so that other can make more educated decisions.

Have a 2023 Solitude and have towed it 11k miles so far and no issues other than a fire place heating element failure which Grand Design quickly mailed me a replacement unit. Not sure that other manufacturer's work with there customer base like Grand Design does. The negative comments i have read and heard over the past year and a half of ownership are definitely not my own experience with this company. Honesty is harder and harder to find online. I would encourage anyone in the market to visit some campgrounds and RV parks and ask those who have the brand you are interested in there views of the product. UA-cam, FB and many other online resources for reviews and information are hot or miss. Love the way Lineage looks! If i were in the market it would definitely be on a shortlist for comps.

Very good video. I have a Lippert rebranded N(Everchill) fridge (Chinese - Way Interglobal) 12V fridge in our Forest River camper. The fan failed at 14 months and after removing, it became obvious its a small computer fan motor with a large fan attached. Compared to a LG or Samsung, it is way underbuilt for the task. Lippert, with the frame flex issues, may finally suffer the consequences of under-engineered products with the costs associated with cutting corners.

Why would anyone trust or buy a GD product. Between poor customer service and quality plus the Winnebago history bad idea.

When I saw Kumho tires I instantly became concerned about cost cutting. But this looks great on the inside. Very familiar floor plan to many out there and one of my favorites. I think I would rather have a smaller bed to be able to get back around that side of the bed easier. Overall I bet this is going to be a great hit for them.
